Functional Prescience™
The Anti-inCoherence Primitive and the Structural Prediction of Bounded Systems
Joseph Ben-Simon · Ben-Simon Labs
Functional Prescience™ is the public release of a formal doctrine for identifying when bounded systems can no longer preserve their existing operating mode under recurring incoherence.
The book introduces the Anti-inCoherence Primitive in public form. It does not present AIP as advice, ideology, motivation, or strategic opinion. It presents a structural claim: when recurrence, burden, failed closure, residue, and finite margin converge, the system’s valid outcome paths narrow.
AIP identifies the point where human authority is no longer choosing freely. The decision-maker may still choose method, timing, and mechanism. It does not choose whether the unresolved contradiction has begun consuming the system’s capacity to continue.
The First Public Edition is written for readers who need the public doctrine before entering application, proof lineage, historical failure, or institutional review.
It is the entry point.
Theorem identity
Functional Prescience™ is the public-facing name of the doctrine. The formal theorem identity is the Anti-inCoherence Primitive.
The distinction matters. Functional Prescience™ is the entry point a public reader can approach. AIP is the underlying structure that classifies when a bounded system can no longer preserve the same operating mode under recurring incoherence.
The book does not ask the reader to accept a mood, worldview, ideology, or management philosophy. It introduces a theorem-level structure for identifying when recurrence, burden, failed closure, unresolved residue, and finite margin have already narrowed the valid outcome paths.
AIP does not begin from the authority of the person making the decision. It begins from the condition of the system.
A government, company, platform, hospital, market, institution, or cultural order may defend an incoherence for a time. It may name that defense policy, duty, compassion, necessity, legitimacy, or survival. The name does not alter the structure. If the incoherence requires repeated subsidy from coherent capacity in order to remain standing, the system has entered AIP territory.
The Gate Thirteen layer
The First Public Edition already includes the Gate Thirteen amplification layer.
That matters because unresolved incoherence does not remain isolated. When it is preserved instead of resolved, it recruits new costs, new contradictions, new administrative burdens, new enforcement demands, and new residue fields around itself. Protection becomes expansion. Tolerance becomes subsidy. Delay becomes amplification.
The book therefore presents more than a static contradiction model. It presents a public doctrine for identifying when the system has begun paying to preserve what is consuming it.
Structure
The book states the doctrine. The Proof page provides the audit lineage. The Functional Appendix gives registered readers a guided way to begin applying the doctrine without needing to master the formal apparatus first.
The domain pages show where the doctrine applies across sovereign systems, AI and platforms, enterprise, government, medicine, finance, and media.
The Functional Appendix
Registered readers may claim the included Functional Appendix: AIP Guided Prompt Workbook for Everyday Use.
The workbook does not replace the manuscript. It helps readers apply the doctrine by answering ordinary-language questions while an AI system translates those answers into AIP variables.
The book states the doctrine. The appendix activates the reader. The review paths route serious systems into structured evaluation.
